Fishmoose Interactive is a Swedish independent game studio consisting of Tobias Lindberg and Alexander Schach.
Fishmoose Interactive began as a group of game development- and sound design students at Blekinge Institute of Technology in 2013. During the course of the education, we worked on several minor game projects – none of which has been released to date. Towards the end of our three-year bachelor program, we came in second at a local competition: the Game Concept Challenge with the game “A Memory of No-one”, which enabled us some monetary support as well as being a part of the Gameport-section of Blekinge Business Incubator.
After our graduation, Tobias and Alex were the only ones to continue working with the game. Initially, we intended to let the name “Fishmoose Interactive” die along with the split-up of our student collective, but in the end we decided to stick with the name.
Immemorial and Cosmic Kites
A Memory of No-one was later renamed to Immemorial and we continued working on it throughout 2015. Towards the end of the year, Alex presented a prototype for what later would become Cosmic Kites. We soon decided to shelf the rather extensive Immemorial-project and focus on Cosmic kites with its more manageable scope.
